Corry’s 2026 Homecoming celebration included a strong turnout for the Channel 98.9 – Corry Federal Credit Union Tailgate Party before Friday night’s game. The event featured hotdogs, refreshments and activities for attendees before kickoff.
At halftime, Corry crowned its 2026 Homecoming royalty. Senior Grace Allen was crowned Homecoming Queen, while senior Nick Hodak was crowned Homecoming King.
On the field, General McLane defeated Corry 42-14.
The Lancers took a 21-0 lead before Corry got on the scoreboard late in the first half. Lamech Albers caught a touchdown pass from Jackson Lathrop with 19 seconds remaining, cutting the deficit to 21-7.
General McLane added another touchdown before halftime and extended the lead to 35-7 in the fourth quarter. Corry answered when Lathrop connected with Connor Sterling for a touchdown, making it 35-14.
General McLane added one final touchdown in the closing minutes to complete the 42-14 victory.
Corry will return to action next week against Fairview.
