ERIE — The Erie County Young Democrats have elected new officers to lead the organization for the next two years.
Members elected Gavin S. Griffin as president, Dominic Gardunio as vice president and Thomas Wickham as secretary during a Sept. 10 meeting at Erie Democratic Party headquarters. The treasurer position remains vacant, with nominations expected at the organization’s next regular meeting.
Griffin, a Titusville native and 2026 graduate of Mercyhurst University, previously served on Titusville City Council and was a delegate to the 2024 Democratic National Convention. Gardunio is a North East resident and Mercyhurst graduate who has been involved with local Democratic organizations.
Wickham is a Mercyhurst senior studying intelligence studies and political science. He previously served as president of the university’s College Democrats organization.
