HARRISBURG — Pennsylvania’s newly enacted 2026-27 state budget includes more than $678 million in additional funding for public education, continuing a multi-year effort to increase state support for schools across the Commonwealth.
The budget provides a $565 million increase through the state’s adequacy and tax equity funding formula, along with an additional $58 million for Basic Education Funding and $55 million for Special Education Funding. It also maintains funding for school infrastructure projects, school safety and mental health programs, universal free breakfast, and other education initiatives.
Among local districts, the Union City Area School District will receive $12,927,300 in state funding for the 2026-27 school year, while the Corry Area School District is slated to receive $22,338,489.

Fort Leboeuf School District — $12,458,325
Penncrest School District — $24,510,851
Titusville Area School District — $22,047,768
Warren County School District — $37,695,890
