Crawford County officials have announced the appointment of Don Bovard as the county’s new Emergency Management Coordinator, effective May 17, 2026.
Bovard brings more than 18 years of service with Crawford County and has extensive experience in emergency preparedness and public safety operations. Most recently, he served as the county’s Emergency Management Agency Training Officer, where he helped develop training programs, coordinate emergency exercises, and support response efforts across the region.
In his new role, Bovard will oversee emergency planning and disaster response coordination, along with training initiatives and collaboration with local, state, and federal partners.
County officials say they look forward to his continued leadership within Crawford County’s emergency management program.
