According to the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Organized Crime Unit in Erie, the investigation focused on a business identified as Summer Foot Spa, located on Clinton Street in North East Borough. Authorities said the investigation spanned from February 2025 through April 2026.

Police allege the business was operating as a house of prostitution, where commercial sex acts were exchanged for money.

The accused, identified as 57-year-old Sui Lin of Corona, New York, was charged and arraigned on April 21 before Magisterial District Judge Scott Hammer. Charges include promoting prostitution, conspiracy, and prostitution-related offenses.

State police said the investigation was conducted with assistance from the Erie County Human Trafficking Task Force and the North East Police Department. The case is being prosecuted by the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.

Authorities note that criminal charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
