Bears Shutout Muskies

The Union City Bears were back on the baseball field on Monday afternoon as they played host to the Jamestown Muskies in a non-region game.

Ian Kinney would double and later score on an RBI by Blake Turner to give the Bears an early 1-0 lead.

Luke Wright would double later in the game and score on an RBI by Joe Zahner to put the Bears up by two.

Those two runs would be all the Bears would need as they would take down the Muskies in a 2-0 shutout. The win improves the Bears to 5-3 on the season while the Muskies fall to 0-7.

The Bears will return to action on Wednesday afternoon as they travel to Mercyhurst Prep to take on the Lakers in a region game.
