Union City Man Taken Into Custody on Warrant

A Union City man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant after police responded to a traffic complaint last month.

According to the Union City Police Department, officers were dispatched around 3:01 p.m. on Feb. 25 to 34 Fourth Avenue to investigate a report of an ATV being operated on the roadway.

While at the location, officers observed 23-year-old Nicholas Kaday of Union City walking away on the property. Police were aware that Kaday had an active arrest warrant through the Erie Police Department.

Kaday was taken into custody without incident and later turned over to Erie police.
