Union City residents and businesses have just a short time left to sign up for this year’s Holiday Decorating Contest, hosted by Union City Parks & Recreation. The final day to register is Wednesday, December 3.
The annual contest features two divisions — a Residential Category and a Business Category — with each judged separately and offering cash prizes for the top three displays:
- 1st Place: $100
- 2nd Place: $75
- 3rd Place: $50
Judging will take place on Friday, December 5, and participants are asked to make sure their lights are turned on by 5 p.m. so judges can view the displays.
There is no entry fee, and the contest is open to residents and businesses in both Union City Borough and Union City Township.
