Bears Fall in Tight Game to Braves

The Bears baseball team was back on their home field on Monday afternoon, taking on the Iroquois Braves in a region game. The Bears would bring across their only run of the game in the first inning, as Miles McCaslin would reach on an error and Trevin Capela would drive in courtesy runner Desmond Pieper, to score the Bears only run of the contest, as Union City would fall to Iroquois 3-1, dropping their record to 4-9 (3-9) on the season. The Bears will be back on Wednesday afternoon, hoping to rebound against the Rocky Grove Orioles.
