Corry’s City Park, downtown parking and antiquated city owned buildings were among the assets discussed at a City Council meeting Monday afternoon. An asset study is underway to help Corry’s elected leaders determine priorities for the future. Needs identified included water, electrical, parking improvements at the City Park and parking lots in the downtown area. An obsolete police station, inadequate fire stations, and a city administration building in need of expensive updates were also discussed.
Questions were also raised about the Community and Senior Centers. Consultants and city officials will meet again later this week on May 11th at 5:15 PM to discuss zoning issues.
