
LONDON, Ontario – The Erie Otters rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat the London Knights in a shootout Friday night, earning a 4-3 victory.
London scored twice in the first period to take a 2-0 lead, but Erie responded in the second. Mclean Agrette scored on the power play to cut the deficit to one, and Gairin Michalski followed with his first goal of the season and first in the Ontario Hockey League to tie the game at 2-2.
Thomas Zocco put London back in front with a power-play goal in the third period. With just over three minutes remaining, Broden McArthur scored his first goal as an Otter to even the score at 3-3.
Neither team scored in overtime, sending the game to a shootout. Agrette scored for Erie, and after several rounds, Paul Schuester found the net to secure the win. David Egorov made key stops in overtime and the shootout to help the Otters complete the comeback.
Erie outshot London 34-31.
The Otters return home Saturday to host the Ottawa 67’s at 6 p.m. The first 1,000 fans will receive a 2026-27 magnet schedule, presented by iHeart Media Erie.
