Corry Police Arrest Three on Warrants

CORRY — Corry police reported three separate arrests on outstanding warrants involving a woman wanted in Erie County and two people wanted in Crawford County.

On Sept. 22, Corry police received a call from the Erie Police Department that Briana Borland, 39, was in custody on a warrant. Corry police arranged to meet with Erie police and take custody of Borland. She was brought to Corry, interviewed and arraigned in front of District Magistrate Denise Buell before being transported to Erie County Prison.

On Sept. 25, officers went to an apartment at 12 East Airport Road to serve a warrant on Michael Butcher, 29, of Corry. Police confirmed the warrant and took Butcher into custody without incident. He was transported to District Magistrate Buell’s office before Corry police took custody of him.

On Sept. 30, Corry police followed up on information that Melissa Proper, 44, of Spartansburg, had an active warrant out of Crawford County. Officers took Proper into custody without incident and transported her to the police station. She was later transported to Crawford County Prison.
