State Police Report Several Area Crashes

Pennsylvania State Police have released details of several crashes reported in Crawford and Erie counties.

On Oct. 1, 51-year-old Roger Bromley of Meadville was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Townville Road in Athens Township. Police said Bromley was driving a 2015 Kia Optima when the crash occurred. He was transported by Townville Ambulance Service to Titusville Area Hospital with an injury of unknown severity. Police cited Bromley for driving at a safe speed.

On Sept. 28, 26-year-old Kalib J. Campbell of Titusville was not injured when his 2011 Subaru Legacy struck a utility pole on Enterprise Road at State Highway 27 in Oil Creek Township. The vehicle was disabled in the crash.

On Sept. 26, 41-year-old Caroline I. Kuss of Union City was not injured in a crash involving a deer on State Route 8 north of State Route 77 in Bloomfield Township. Her 2019 Chevrolet Silverado was disabled in the crash.

On Sept. 23, 53-year-old Shane M. Lewis of Warren, Ohio, was driving east on State Route 6 in Concord Township, Erie County, when his vehicle struck a 2021 Mazda CX-3 driven by 60-year-old John R. Shade of Albion. Police said Shade’s vehicle was stopped behind a school bus before the collision.

Shade suffered suspected minor injuries and was transported by EmergyCare to Corry Memorial Hospital. Lewis was not injured. Police cited Lewis for driving at a safe speed. Four passengers in Lewis’ vehicle were also listed as uninjured.
