TIDIOUTE — Pennsylvania State Police in Warren are investigating a reported attempt to lure a child into a vehicle in Tidioute Borough.
According to a public information release, the incident occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. on June 11 near the intersection of Main and Elm streets.
Troopers said an unknown man, operating a light gray or silver four-door passenger vehicle, allegedly attempted to lure a juvenile into his vehicle. No further details about the interaction were released.
The suspect is described as a white male between 30 and 40 years old with a heavy build, standing approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall. Police said the man had brown hair and a full brown beard. He was reportedly wearing a red and black hat, a black T-shirt and dark denim jeans.
State police did not release the identity of the juvenile involved.
