CORRY — Pennsylvania State Police have released additional information on two crashes that occurred earlier this summer in Warren and Crawford counties.
The first crash occurred at 11:17 p.m. on June 13 along Route 957 in Freehold Township, Warren County. Police said 25-year-old Daniel F. Espinosa of Corry was traveling west on a 2018 Harley-Davidson motorcycle at about 65 mph when he was unable to negotiate a curve on a freshly tar-and-chipped roadway. The motorcycle crossed into the eastbound lane, entered a ditch and struck its front end. Espinosa, who was wearing a helmet, suffered a suspected serious injury and was transported by EmergyCare to Corry Hospital.
The second crash happened at about 6:38 p.m. on July 10 at the intersection of Little Cooley Road and Mickle Hollow Road in Bloomfield Township, Crawford County. Police said a GMC Denali driven by 26-year-old Marissa A. Henry of Conneautville was traveling west on Little Cooley Road when a trailer being towed by the pickup crossed the center line and struck an eastbound Mitsubishi Outlander driven by 39-year-old Matthew E. Fosburg of Townville. Fosburg suffered an injury of unknown severity but declined transport. Henry was not injured. The Mitsubishi sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
