Northern Pennsylvania Regional College celebrated its 2026 commencement ceremony on May 9 at The Wilds Sonshine Factory in Kane, recognizing 35 graduates who completed degree and certificate programs.
Among the graduates honored were several students from the local area, including Kayla Brown of Corry, who earned an Associate of Arts degree with honors; Sandra Brewer of Bear Lake, who earned an Associate of Science degree with honors; and Abel Moreno III of Spartansburg, who earned an Associate of Science degree in absentia.
During the ceremony, NPRC President Joseph Snelick congratulated graduates on reaching a major milestone and encouraged them to continue pursuing growth and leadership opportunities.
Student speaker Hailey Taylor of Bradford reflected on overcoming challenges throughout her college journey and encouraged fellow graduates to persevere through difficult moments in life and career paths.
Kelly Compton, Director of Educational Services for Seneca Highlands Intermediate Unit 9, delivered the commencement address, challenging graduates to continue striving toward future goals and to use their education to positively impact their communities.
The ceremony included graduates from across the college’s 10-county service region, including students from Erie, Crawford, Warren, McKean, Elk and Potter counties.
