On May 13, a two-vehicle crash occurred on Short Street in Canadohta Lake. A Kia Sorento driven by 63-year-old Catherine Goodman of Erie collided with a Mack truck. The crash happened just north of Carter Avenue around 11:20 a.m. No injuries were reported, and no one required medical transport from the scene.

Three days later, on May 16, troopers investigated a distracted driving incident on Route 8 in Union Township. According to the report, 22-year-old Gabriella Pagan of Erie was operating a Volkswagen when she rear-ended a vehicle that had stopped due to a school bus. Police said she was distracted by her cellphone. While her vehicle sustained disabling damage and had to be towed, no injuries were reported. Pagan was cited for using a handheld mobile device while driving a commercial motor vehicle.

The most recent crash happened on May 17 along Thompson Run Road in Oil Creek Township. Troopers say 40-year-old Wendy See of Titusville lost control of her Kia Sportage, veered off the roadway, struck a guide rail, and came to rest on a creek bank slope. She was wearing her seatbelt and was not injured. She was cited for failure to drive on the right side of the road.

All incidents remain under investigation.
