The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) invites the public to attend the annual spring Open House at the Linesville State Fish Hatchery on April 12 from 11A-3P . This event will give visitors a chance to encounter firsthand how hatchery staff produce millions of Walleye and other fish for Pennsylvania waterways each year. Take part in the Walleye life cycle by viewing spawning demonstrations, sample delicious fish at the fish fry, and learn the best in filleting techniques. Come eye to eye with the fish in the viewing 10,000 gallon tank and make a fish print T-shirt to keep the memory of the day alive. The fish hatchery is located at Linesville Hatchery Visitor Center, 13300 Hartstown Rd.
