The Union City Lady Bears Volleyball team was back in the Bears Den on Monday night taking on the Erie First Christian Eagles in a non-region game. After a tough opening set, the Lady Bears were able to regroup to win the next three sets to win the match 3-1 to stay undefeated, improving their record to 5-0 on the season. Cathryn Reynolds finished the game with 11 kills and 11 digs. Alyssa Tingley finished with 30 assist, 10 digs, and 5 aces. Lilly Vincent had 7 digs. And Brooke VanTassel finished the game with 8 kills and 2 blocks. The Lady Bears next game will be Thursday night as they take on Jamestown in a non-region game.
The Lady Bears won the JV game in two sets 25-21, 25-22.
