Erie County Executive Brenton Davis is proposing a $570 million dollar budget that will not require a tax increase. The proposed budget is $38 million higher than this year.  Davis would use $4.2 million in rainy day funds to balance the budget.  Erie County Council will have the final word on the spending plan. The new budget will be approved by the end of the year.
