
Columbus Day will be celebrated Monday, October 12th, with a car cruise, chicken and biscuits dinner, and a look at the community’s history.
The car cruise, organized by Streets Machines Unlimited, will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mather Park, located at 14 Market Street in Columbus.
A chicken and biscuits dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Columbus Social Hall, located behind the fire hall at 4 West Main Street. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit the Corry Regional Fire Company.
During the dinner, Ann Clark of the Corry Historical Society will present a slideshow on the history of Columbus. There will also be 50/50 raffles, baskets and a lottery raffle.
