CORRY — Downtown Corry will celebrate its annual Bigfoot Bash on Friday, November 6, as part of the First Fridays event organized by the Downtown Corry Business Association.

The event will run from 5 to 9 p.m. and feature a variety of activities, including a chili cook-off, Bigfoot-themed attractions, live music and free horse-and-wagon rides.

One of the main attractions will be the chili cook-off, featuring downtown restaurants and visiting food trucks. Visitors can pick up a voting card at any participating downtown business, sample chili at the different locations and cast their vote for their favorite. Completed cards can be dropped off at Corry Connections. The winner will be announced on the Downtown Corry Business Association’s Facebook page Saturday.

Nancy DeMauri, owner of Corry Connections, discussed the event during an interview with Channel 98.9’s Dr. Kevin. DeMauri said signs will be posted throughout downtown to help visitors locate the participating chili cook-off locations.

Bigfoot Bash T-shirts will also be available for $16. Customers can choose their shirt color and size, with shirts pressed on site. Preorders can be placed by contacting DeMauri at Corry Connections at 814-664-0250.
