ERIE — The Erie County Public Library has released a draft of its 2027-2031 strategic plan and is inviting the public to review it and provide feedback through Monday, November 9.
The plan outlines six focus areas, including promoting reading and curiosity, strengthening literacy and educational partnerships, improving library spaces, providing customer service, supporting staff development and ensuring long-term financial and operational sustainability.
Library leadership developed the focus areas based on interactions with patrons, industry trends and work with community partners.
Executive Director Jessica Spitulski said the plan is intended to reflect the needs of Erie County residents and help guide the library’s operations over the next five years.
The draft plan and public feedback survey are available at https://erielibrary.libconnectpro.com/strategic-plan-landing-page.
