The Happy Scrappers Quilt Guild invites the public to its annual quilt show on Friday, Aug. 28, and Saturday, Aug. 29, at the St. Teresa Church Activity Building, 9 Third Street in Union City.
Show hours are 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is $6.
Visitors can enjoy quilt displays, vendors, refreshments, and more throughout the two-day event.
A special highlight will take place Saturday at 1:00 p.m. when the guild presents two Quilts of Valor to local veterans in recognition of their service and sacrifice.
Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy the craftsmanship, fellowship, and special tribute to area veterans.
