The Union City Alumni Association is inviting the community to take part in an Alumni Bear Hunt, a weekly challenge that gives participants a chance to win a $100 gas card.
The event began August 10 and continues through September 12. Each Monday, a small teddy bear will be hidden inside one of several participating Union City businesses.
Participants who are 18 or older can search for the bear, take a photo when they find it and record the date and business location. The completed entry, including the participant’s name, email address and mailing address, should be emailed to unioncitypa.alumni1@gmail.com.
Correct entries will be entered into the drawing for the $100 gas card. Participants are asked not to post the bear’s location publicly, as doing so will result in disqualification.
Participating locations include the Union City Museum, Rancho Alegre Restaurant, Family Support Center, Corry Federal Credit Union, Pizza Hut, French Creek Mercantile, Dai Salon, Skelton Eye Care, Ace Hardware, Coleman’s Custom Apparel, French Creek Outdoors, Sara’s Business Solutions, Wild and Fierce Designs and The Buzz of Union City Cafe.
