
A meeting was recently held in Union City regarding possible historic tax credit opportunities connected to the renovation of a downtown property.
Property owner Jason Fisher met with State Rep. Jake Banta and Union City Borough Manager Cindy Wells to discuss potential federal and state historic tax credits that could assist with continued rehabilitation work at the site.
According to a news release, the property includes 13 apartment units and six storefronts. Renovation work on the building has been ongoing for several years.
Officials discussed funding and tax credit options that could support continued redevelopment efforts in downtown Union City.
