A motorcyclist was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Edinboro Road in Summit Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers said the crash occurred at approximately 1:16 p.m. on Route 99 south of Hershey Road.
Police said a 2026 Volvo XC90 driven by 39-year-old Haile J. Harris of Spencer, New York, was traveling northbound when the driver attempted to turn left into Chuckie Bizzarro’s Fleetwing Auto Sales and entered the path of an oncoming motorcycle.
The motorcycle, a 2015 Honda CBR500R operated by 20-year-old Tyler R. Storicks of Erie, struck the SUV in the southbound lane. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage.
Storicks, who was wearing a motorcycle helmet, was transported by Perry Hi-Way Hose Company to UPMC Hamot, where he was pronounced dead.
Harris was not injured in the crash. State police said the investigation remains ongoing.
