Bears Take Down Knights

The Union City Bears baseball team was back in action on Wednesday afternoon as they played host to the Eisenhower Knights in another region game.

The Knights would strike early, scoring three runs in the top of the first to take a 3-0 lead.

The Bears would come back to score three runs in the bottom of the first to tie the game at three.

It would be all Union City from there as they would score eleven unanswered runs to take down the Knights 11-3. The win improves the Bears to 10-5 (5-3) on the season while the Knights fall to 1-16 (1-7).

The Bears will return to action on Friday afternoon as they host Warren in their final game of the regular season.
