A local fundraising effort is underway to support Lorraine “Rainy” Falconer, who is currently undergoing treatment for small cell carcinoma, an aggressive and incurable form of cancer affecting her lungs and liver.
As part of the effort, organizers are holding a raffle for a four-person walleye fishing charter on Lake Erie, donated by Comin’ in Hot Sport Fishing. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to Falconer to assist with ongoing medical treatments and related expenses.
Tickets are $10 each, and the winning ticket will be drawn at a benefit on June 13 at 4:45 p.m. at the Bloomfield Township Fire Department, located at 22798 Shreve Ridge.
The charter includes a guided fishing experience for four people, with fish cleaning provided at the end of the trip. Participants must have a valid Pennsylvania fishing license and Lake Erie permit, and are encouraged to bring a cooler with ice to transport their catch.
Organizers say the raffle is a way for the community to come together and provide meaningful support during a difficult time.
