Pennsylvania residents who are not yet registered to vote but plan to participate in the upcoming primary election must do so by Monday, May 4.
The primary election is scheduled for May 19. To be eligible to vote, individuals must be U.S. citizens for at least one month prior to the election, residents of their voting district for at least 30 days, and at least 18 years old on or before Election Day.
Under Pennsylvania law, only voters registered as Republicans or Democrats are permitted to vote for candidates in a primary election.
Voters who wish to cast a mail-in or absentee ballot must apply by May 12. Completed ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. on May 19.
Residents can register to vote at pavoterservices.pa.gov or by contacting their county voter registration office.
