A Corry man is facing charges following a reported stalking incident earlier this month.
According to the Corry City Police Department, officers were called to 34 West Pleasant Street on April 4 at approximately 9:00 p.m. for a report of stalking. Following an investigation, police allege that 20-year-old Austin Barr placed a GPS tracking-type device on the victim’s vehicle in order to monitor her whereabouts.
Barr has been charged in connection with the incident and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Denise Buell at a later date.
All charges are allegations and the accused is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
