A Corry man was involved in a crash Sunday morning that resulted in a vehicle striking a commercial building in Union City.
According to Pennsylvania State Police in Corry, the incident occurred just before 7:30 a.m. when Larry L. Shreffler, 35, was traveling south on North Main Street approaching Market Street. Police say Shreffler failed to navigate a right-hand curve, crossed into the northbound lane, and left the roadway.
The vehicle then traveled onto the sidewalk, struck a sign, and continued into the building housing Essential Hair Group on the east side of the street. Shreffler was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash.
The Jeep sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Union City Volunteer Fire Company, EMS, and Construction Inspection Specialists responded. State police have not indicated if any charges will be filed.
