Vandalism Reported at Erie National Wildlife Refuge Facility

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a reported act of vandalism at the Erie National Wildlife Refuge in Randolph Township, Crawford County.

According to authorities, the incident occurred between April 16 and the morning of April 17 at an exterior bathroom facility located on Boland Road near the Deer Run Trail entrance. Staff discovered a damaged frosted safety glass window, with an estimated value of $300.

Troopers also reported additional damage inside the facility, including unsanitary conditions.

The refuge is operated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

The investigation is ongoing.
