Niagara added three goals in the third period to seal the 7–1 victory. Riley Patterson led the IceDogs with two goals in the win.

Despite the loss, Erie outshot Niagara 33–27.

The Otters will head back on the road next, beginning a two-game trip Tuesday against the Windsor Spitfires.
