Woman Charged After Allegedly Spitting on Officer, Making Threats During Corry Arrest

A woman is facing multiple charges following a domestic incident late Thursday night in Corry.

According to the Corry Police Department, officers were dispatched around 11 p.m. on March 12 to the 400 block of East Washington Street for a report of an active physical domestic dispute.

Police said the investigation led to the arrest of Kayli Wagner, 30.

During the arrest, Wagner allegedly spit on an officer’s face and threatened to kill the officer and the officer’s family when she is released, according to the report. Wagner was taken to the Erie County Prison to await arraignment.

She is charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, simple assault and other related offenses. Wagner is scheduled to answer the charges at a later hearing before Magisterial District Judge Buell.
