Corry Man Charged After Allegedly Fleeing Traffic Stop

A Corry man is facing charges after police say he attempted to flee from officers during a traffic stop in the city.

According to the Corry Police Department, the incident occurred around 2:26 a.m. on Feb. 27 near the intersection of White Street and North Center Street.

Police say officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop after observing a vehicle code violation. The driver allegedly failed to stop and attempted to flee from officers.

Following the incident, police later took 21-year-old Clay Mills of Corry into custody at his residence.

Mills is charged with fleeing and eluding police and will appear for a hearing at a later date before District Judge Denise Buell.
