A 31-year-old Erie man is facing charges following the reported theft of mail packages in Waterford Borough, according to the Pennsylvania State Police Erie Patrol Unit.
Troopers said the incident occurred Feb. 23 between 11:06 a.m. and 3:06 p.m. at a residence along Depot Road.
Police allege that James Bennett, 31, of Erie, removed Amazon packages from in front of the home. The packages contained rabbit food and treats valued at approximately $35.
The victim was identified as Tamryn Drescher, 27, of Waterford.
State police said charges were filed against Bennett through Magisterial District Court 06-3-05.
