Anglers planning for the upcoming trout season can now access the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission’s 2026 adult trout stocking schedule online.
The schedule is searchable by county and lists waterways in alphabetical order, along with planned stocking dates, volunteer meeting locations, and the species of trout to be stocked at each site.
In 2026, Pennsylvania’s statewide Opening Day of Trout Season is set for Saturday, April 4. A single, statewide Mentored Youth Trout Day will take place the previous Saturday, March 28.
The Fish and Boat Commission plans to stock approximately 3.2 million adult trout in 684 streams and 130 lakes open to public angling statewide, a total similar to previous years.
