Tractor-Trailer Overturns Along Route 426 in Columbus Township

A commercial motor vehicle crash sent a tractor-trailer off the roadway Wednesday afternoon in Columbus Township, Warren County.

According to Pennsylvania State Police in Corry, the crash occurred around 1:37 p.m. Jan. 28 along State Route 426 at Carol Hill Road. Troopers said a 2020 International tractor-trailer traveling eastbound left the south side of the roadway and overturned, coming to rest on its passenger side in the front yard of a nearby residence.

The driver, identified as 36-year-old Wilner Duval of Indianapolis, was briefly trapped inside the cab. Police reported he was able to free himself by kicking out the windshield. Duval was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was not injured.

State police indicated Duval will be cited for a roadway laned for traffic violation and will answer to the charge in District Court 37-4-01.
