Pennsylvania high school seniors planning to attend an in-state college or university during the 2026–2027 academic year will have access to new scholarship opportunities through America250PA.
In recognition of the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary, America250PA will award a total of $250,000 in scholarships to students attending accredited Pennsylvania colleges and universities. The program will distribute twenty-five scholarships valued at $10,000 each across the organization’s six designated regions.
The scholarships may be used at any Pennsylvania institution of higher education. Up to 12 awards will be designated for students attending community colleges, while up to 13 will be awarded to students enrolling in four-year post-secondary colleges or universities.
Applications will be accepted from September 16, 2025, through January 31, 2026. The review process will take place between February 1 and March 15, with recipients notified by March 30. Public announcements of the scholarship recipients are scheduled for April 2026, followed by a luncheon honoring awardees later that month in Harrisburg.
