Corry Police Handle Dog Confinement, Criminal Mischief, and Warrant Arrests

Corry City Police handled several incidents in late November, resulting in citations and arrests in three separate cases, according to reports released December 4.

Police cited Amanda Ishman, 41, after responding to a report of a loose dog near East Main and Summer streets on Nov. 20. According to police, this was the fifth such incident involving Ishman since June. She was cited for failure to confine her dog and will face the charge at a hearing before Magisterial District Judge Buell.

On Nov. 29, officers were called to 11 South Center Street after video surveillance showed Demarian Vega, 23, striking a slot machine screen. Damage was estimated at $1,200. Vega was arrested and charged with criminal mischief. A preliminary hearing will be scheduled before MDJ Buell.

Police also arrested Timothy Morvay, 45, on Nov. 24 near West Smith and Grace streets. Officers were aware that Morvay had an active warrant through the Warren County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a burglary charge. He was taken into custody and turned over to Warren County authorities.
