Pennsylvania State Police in Erie have charged a 22-year-old Erie man following an investigation into an alleged sexual assault involving a juvenile.
According to a public information release from state police, troopers allege the suspect, Jolean Gibbs, 22, arranged transportation for a 14-year-old girl from Lorain, Ohio to a hotel in Summit Township, Erie County, on November 2. Police say the two met at the Sleep Inn on Peach Street.
The case remains under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police.
