The Corry Beavers defeated Mercyhurst Prep 40–37 in an overtime thriller on Friday night. After the Lakers took the lead with a field goal, Corry quarterback Vanchieri threw an eight-yard touchdown pass to Frisina to win the game. During halftime, Landon Hasbrouck and Evelyn Beckman were crowned Homecoming King and Queen.
