The Pennsylvania State Police at Corry are investigating two recent incidents in Erie and Crawford counties.
Troopers said a burglary occurred sometime between August 12 and August 24 at a residence along Route 6 in Wayne Township, Erie County. An unknown suspect entered the home through the front door and stole a quarter-inch socket. The victim, a 78-year-old Pittsfield man, reported the theft. Police continue to investigate.
In a separate incident, troopers responded on August 28 to the Fellowship of Believers Church in Centerville, Crawford County, for a report of criminal mischief. Investigators said an unknown person shot several holes into the side of the church building, causing about $500 in damage.
