Erie County Fair at Wattsburg Now Underway

The Erie County Fair at Wattsburg is officially open, bringing a full week of entertainment, agriculture, rides, and community traditions. Gates are open weekdays at 4 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m. Rides begin at 5 p.m. during the week, 1 p.m. on Sunday, and 12 p.m. on Saturday.

Major highlights this year include:

  • Fair Parade on Saturday, August 30, at 5 p.m.
  • BullRide Mania Rodeo on Thursday night.
  • Truck Pulls Friday evening.
  • Farm Stock Tractor Pulls Saturday morning.
  • ATV, UTV, and Dirt Bike Obstacle Course Saturday night.
  • Harness Racing Sunday and Monday afternoons.
  • Fireworks to cap off the fair on Saturday, August 30, at 10 p.m.

The Fair Royalty were also crowned during a ceremony on August 17.

In addition to motor sports and livestock shows, fairgoers can enjoy glass blowing demonstrations, the popular Ninja Experience stunt show, Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show, horse shows, auctions, contests, and plenty of family-friendly activities throughout the grounds.

Fairgoers can catch a wide range of live performances across the week:

  • Monday, Aug. 25 – Polka Relations (Northwest Bank Stage, 5:30–8:30 p.m.) / Tyler McClain (Gazebo, 6–9 p.m.)
  • Wednesday, Aug. 27 – Dan Douglas Band (Northwest Bank Stage, 5–9 p.m.) / Me & The Boy (Gazebo, 6–9 p.m.)
  • Thursday, Aug. 28 – Knuckle Down (Northwest Bank Stage, 5–9 p.m.) / Jesse Weston (Gazebo, 5:30–8:30 p.m.)
  • Friday, Aug. 29 – Jesse Tomczak (Gazebo, 6–9 p.m.) / Jess Kellie Adams (Northwest Bank Stage, 7:30–9:30 p.m.)
  • Saturday, Aug. 30 – Ryah Lambert Band (Northwest Bank Stage, 2–4 p.m.) / Chris Matthews (Gazebo, 5:30–8:30 p.m.) / Jimmy Mowery C
