State police in Meadville are investigating a vehicle break-in that occurred at the Woodcock Creek Lake beach parking lot earlier this week.

Troopers said the incident happened between 3 p.m. and 7:31 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10. The victim, identified as 65-year-old David Bloom of Meadville, reported that his 2011 black Toyocar van container trailer had its passenger front window smashed.
The suspect took approximately one dollar in quarters from inside the vehicle. Damage to the window was estimated at $100.
The investigation is ongoing.
