Union City Man Wanted by Authorities Taken into Custody Without Incident

A 26-year-old Union City man wanted by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office was taken into custody on the evening of June 26.

According to Union City Police, officers were alerted around 6:57 p.m. that Jacob Brown was at the Kwik Fill in town. While responding, police spotted Brown driving a Honda Civic northbound on South Main Street.

He was stopped and taken into custody without incident. Officers also determined that Brown was operating the vehicle on a suspended license due to a prior DUI. He was issued a citation for the license violation.

Brown was later turned over to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
