The Community Blood Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York is giving Corry residents two great opportunities to help save lives and win big this June. On Wednesday, June 11, the organization will host two separate blood drives in Corry — one in the morning and one in the afternoon — with all donors automatically entered to win a pair of kayaks.
The first drive takes place at Corry Memorial Hospital from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by an afternoon drive at Corry Manor from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Both events are open to the public and walk-ins are welcome.
All blood types are needed. Donors must be at least 17 years old (or 16 with parental consent), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, be in general good health, and have had no tattoos or piercings within the last three months. A photo ID is required.
Participants are encouraged to eat before donating and can speed up the process by completing the QuickPass on the day of donation, available via QR code or by visiting fourhearts.org.
