Corry Rail And Industrial Legacy Society (RAILS) will hold its fourth volunteer work session of the year on Saturday and Sunday, June 7 and 8, at its restoration shop at 132 Mead Ave. in Corry.

Volunteers will continue restoration work on a rare Climax Class A locomotive originally built in Corry in 1902 and later shipped to Alaska for the Nome Gold Rush. It’s the only complete Class A Climax locomotive known to survive today.

Work begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and runs all day, with lunch provided. Sunday is a half-day session. Visitors and alumni are welcome to stop by to learn more and take part in preserving Corry’s industrial heritage.
