State Police in Corry responded to a late-night call in Union City earlier this month, after a fire was intentionally set inside a downtown apartment building.
Just after midnight on April 12th, troopers arrived at 42 North Main Street, where they discovered that 64-year-old Kelly Bounds of Union City had allegedly set fire to cardboard inside a toilet bowl in his apartment. The incident forced the evacuation of all occupants in the building.
Bounds has been charged with a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct and is expected to appear in District Court 06-2-04.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
